Stages of Recovery offers a virtual family-support meeting via Zoom each Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Each meeting is led by our staff member and long-time recovery advocate, Mechie Scherpereel. At Stages, we understand recovery isn’t just about one person – addiction isn’t an island. Our Family Support Group ensures that everyone in the wake of addiction moves forward to heal through this treatment journey and beyond.
This non-clinical setting allows a client’s family and loved ones to share their experience, strength, and hope. It also safely lets family members process the physical and emotional storm experienced during their loved one’s addiction in a productive and solution-focused environment. With ongoing attendance, Stages can develop a constructive relationship with those who will nurture and support the client throughout their recovery. Concepts discussed include boundaries, enabling, trust, self-care, surrender, and detaching with love.
If your loved one is currently receiving treatment at Stages of Recovery and you would like to join us for your recovery, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to our weekly Zoom invite!
